If this scenario has ever crossed your mind, now might be the time to make it a reality. Bisaccia is the latest Italian town to put dozens of homes on the market for only one euro (yes, just one!).
OK, here’s the catch: These homes need a lot of love. The town, which is in Italy’s southern Campania region, is selling 90 broken-down homes in an effort to save the dying area. After high emigration and a series of earthquakes in 1980, the town needs people to renovate these buildings and revamp the community.
